Dice Cove (“we”, “us”) operates dicecove.com and the Dice Cove mobile apps for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using our services, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Free tools (dice roller, generators, session tools)

• No account is required.
• Optional tool preferences (for example roll setups or tracker state) may be stored on your device using browser local storage or, in the native apps, Capacitor Preferences. This data stays on your device unless you clear app or browser storage.
• We may collect basic, aggregated usage analytics (for example pages viewed and approximate region) to improve performance and understand which tools are popular. We do not sell personal information.

Shop and orders

When you browse the shop, add items to a cart, or place an order, we and our ecommerce provider collect information needed to fulfill purchases, including:

• Cart contents and product selections
• Shipping and billing name and address
• Email address and phone number (when provided)
• Payment details (processed by our payment providers — we do not store full card numbers on Dice Cove servers)
• Order history and customer account data if you create a customer account

Checkout and payment are handled through our commerce backend (Medusa) and its payment partners. Guest checkout is available; creating an account is optional.

Native apps (iOS / Android)

The mobile apps load Dice Cove content and may use:

• On-device storage for cart identifiers and tool preferences
• Network access for catalog, cart, checkout, and updates
• The system browser when a hosted payment flow is required for physical merchandise

We do not use the camera, microphone, contacts, or precise location in the current apps.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide tools, the shop, and customer support
• Process and fulfill orders, shipping, and returns
• Improve the website, apps, and product selection
• Detect abuse and keep services secure
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service

Third-Party Services

We rely on third parties that process data under their own policies, including:

• Medusa / payment providers — catalog, cart, checkout, payments, and customer accounts
• Hosting / CDN — delivery of the website and static assets
• Analytics providers (when enabled) — aggregated usage measurement

Opening checkout in the system browser means payment providers process that session under their policies.

Data Retention

Order and account data are retained as needed for fulfillment, accounting, returns, and legal obligations. On-device preferences remain until you clear them or uninstall the app.

Your Choices

• Use tools without creating an account
• Use guest checkout or a Dice Cove customer account
• Clear local / app storage to remove on-device preferences and cart identifiers
• Email support@dicecove.com to ask about access, correction, or deletion of order-related personal data we control
• If you have a customer account, you can also manage account data through account settings where available

Children’s Privacy

Dice Cove is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

International Users

We may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If you shop from outside the US, customs and tax rules may apply as described at checkout.

Security

We use HTTPS and industry-standard practices appropriate to our services. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
