Famous for their love of firearms and all things that go bang, these powerfully built hippo folk are known for their Spelljammer ties.

Lost in space

Although they are found throughout the multiverse, all Giff are drawn back to the great sea of the Astral Plane. This subconscious pull comes from their connection with their forgotten and weakened deities, that are left to drift the Astral Plane in a near-dead state. Although so weakened by being forgotten by the Giff, their gods are still able to bestow them with a supernatural connection and ability with firearms.

Despite still being intrinsically linked to their creator gods, the Giff have lost all memory of not only them, but their home world. No living Giff has been there, seen it, or knows where it is.
